Spider Solitaire uses two card decks (104 total). You start with 54 cards spread over 10 columns – the first 4 columns get 6 cards each, the rest 5. Only the top card in each column is face-up, and the remaining 50 cards stay in the stock. Your goal? Build complete King-to-Ace sequences in the same suit to clear them from the board. Here’s the scoop on moves: • Place a card on one that’s exactly one rank higher (7♥ goes on 8♣, for instance). • Move multiple cards only if they form a continuous sequence of the same suit (like 9♠-8♠-7♠). • An empty column can hold any card or partial run. • When you’re stuck, deal a new row from the stock—only if each of the 10 columns has at least one card. • If you run out of stock cards mid-deal, it’s game over. Choose your difficulty: • One Suit (all spades) – easiest. • Two Suits (spades + hearts) – a moderate step up. • Four Suits – the toughest challenge. Pro tip: clear same-suit runs quickly for extra room, but keep backup cards for when you deal the next row. Watching a full run vanish is super satisfying—worth the planning and a few grey hairs along the way. Enjoy!.
